Raging Hormonal Bitch…That’s ME!

I’ve been on Estrace 3 times a day for about 2 weeks now. I never had hormonal mood swings when I took birth control, so this whole emotional thing is all new to me. This might be a rant post, so I apologize if I come across whiny.

Please pray for a friend

A friend of mine had his baby girl, Sailor, a six days ago. She stopped growing around 6 months, and momma’s amniotic fluid was low. After lots of praying, Sailor was noticeably bigger at her next ultrasound.

Sailor was born with a broken femur, displaced hips, a cyst on her spine, club feet, and also a tethered spine. The spine is currently putting pressure on some nerves that will prevent her from walking. She is going into surgery today at 1PM (PST) to untether her spine. The goal is to relieve the pressure on the nerves, and hopefully she will be able to use her legs. Sailor has Closed Spina Bifida. The good news is she is otherwise healthy.

1st Blogiversary!!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I created this blog! I started it as a way to write down my journey so I’d remember what was going on (I have a terrible memory!!). I’ve looked back at some of my first posts and it brings me back to how I was feeling. I’m sad that we still aren’t pregnant, and I’ve never been pregnant, BUT tomorrow is my FIRST SCAN after starting stims! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH

Side effects!

I’m on my last week of birth control (last day on Sunday! EEEEPS!), and while I don’t have side effects like nausea, headaches etc., I think I do have one rather important one that effects people around me.

Current Obsession

Since there’s a lull between now and the start of my first ever IVF cycle (EEEEEEEEK), I thought I’d share something with you that I am currently obsessed with.

I am absolutely in love with The Bar Method!! Some of you may know this as Pure Barre, Physique 57, Barre Fitness, Exhale Core Fusion Barre…you get the idea.

CD1!!

The first time I’ve ever been happy to have AF show up! I called the clinic, but I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I emailed my nurse, but she doesn’t get back to work until Tuesday, which will be CD4. I’m supposed to have a baseline done on CD3 (Monday). I hope this doesn’t mess up our schedule.

Any who, I’m cracking open a bottle of wine tonight!!
