The first time I’ve ever been happy to have AF show up! I called the clinic, but I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I emailed my nurse, but she doesn’t get back to work until Tuesday, which will be CD4. I’m supposed to have a baseline done on CD3 (Monday). I hope this doesn’t mess up our schedule.
Any who, I’m cracking open a bottle of wine tonight!!

Don’t they usually have the answering service? That’s what happens at my clinic. I leave a message at the answering service on CD1 and someone calls me back later. Good luck!

I just got the recorded message saying the office was closed. I thought there would be an answering service, or someone there until noon too. But nothing! The only other option was for urgent matters. I don’t know if i’m urgent?

I don’t know? It said to press that number if I wanted to speak to the on-call doctor. I just need to make an appointment, I don’t need to talk to a doctor. This is so confusing. I told my nurse that CD1 was going to be on a weekend, and she didn’t seem too concerned.

That would stress me out big time. I hope that you can reach someone sooner rather than later. Is it okay to call on Monday morning to schedule an appointment? Is your work flexible?

I always stress when this happens to me (twice) but found it was unnecessary stress. One time they just booked me in same day when I called monday morning and this last time I got in on CD4 and it was no big deal. It will work out. Enjoy that wine and call monday morning. That’s my opinion!

Ugh- as if we need added stress and worry. Hopefully this will get cleared up quick. For some reason the small stuff in a cycle not the big news can make me break down. It’s like I want the stuff that should be easy to just go my way. Good luck!
