I know Starbucks’ holiday season started on Nov. 1st in the US. I assumed it would be the same in Canada. So off I walked to my local Starbucks on Nov. 1st, and everything was still white, and pumpkin spiced out. I was annoyed, but no big deal, I’ll wait a couple days for my Gingerbread Latte.
Monday arrives, first of all, it’s Monday, so I’m automatically grumpy. I get to my work Starbucks, and was all pumped to see the red cups, and holiday items. I was with my cousin, and she said, there’s no Gingerbread Lattes on the menu. I said, no way, they have to have it. But when I got to the cashier, she confirmed it. There was no Gingerbread Latte in Western and Central Canada, or the Pacific Northwest. I can’t even drive to Washington for my beloved GBL!
Anyway, I’ve been so distracted by this that I had to get it off my chest. DH said I am way to focused on my first world problems. But the way I look at it, I gotta be happy with little wins right now, and this should’ve been a little win! Luckily, I realized that Starbucks sells the syrup online. So I’ve made my purchase and plan to prep my cup with the syrup before going to Starbucks!
Again, I know I’m being ridiculous, but I really LOVE Gingerbread Lattes! LOL 😦
